DEVELOPMENT OF A CLIMATE STRATEGY
In 2023, we worked on the development of a Climate Strategy, defining an action plan to address and reduce the impacts of climate change.
SUSTAINABILITY AND CLIMATE CHANGE AGENCY CERTIFICATION (ASSC)
Empresas Iansa received, among 39 other companies, certification from the ASCC in the Clean Production Agreement (APL), Ecolabeling of Containers and Packaging.
CLEAN PRODUCTION AGREEMENT (CPA) BLUE CERTIFICATE
We ratified our participation in the Clean Production Agreement (APL), Blue Certificate of the Sustainability and Climate Change Agency for the determination of the Water Footprint in Ñuble and Quepe plants.
CERTIFICATION OF PATAGONIAFRESH’S IV CLEAN PRODUCTION AGREEMENT (CPA)
In September 2023 we obtained approval for APL IV certification in Molina and San Fernando plants, complying with 100% in each plant.
CARBON FOOTPRINT CERTIFICATE
The Ministry of the Environment granted the Cosmito, San Carlos, Quilicura and Quepe facilities the recognition of the Carbon Management Program Chile Footprint 2022for our rigorous process of quantifying greenhouse gas emissions.

HEALTH AND SAFETY, FIRST AND FOREMOST
In 2023 we had an accident rate of 0.8%, achieving our goal of keeping it below 1%.
PRODUCTIVE ALLIANCES WITH MAPUCHE COMMUNITIES IN LA ARAUCANÍA
We have a pilot collaboration program with two territories near the animal nutrition plant in Quepe: Mahuidache and Trapilhue. The project promotes the development of their agriculture through a Productive Alliance that allowed us to work with them in the planting of 30 hectares of triticale.
COMPANY OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY
As part of Empresas Iansa’s 70th anniversary and the 140th anniversary of the Manufacturing Development Society, SOFOFA, we joined the Open Company initiative. We welcomed more than 300 people to most of our production plants and distribution centers.
EXPANSION OF CONTENT IN THE IANSA ACADEMY
For the third consecutive year, Empresas Iansa, in conjunction with the Finis Terrae University, held three courses in baking and the first in savory cooking for gastronomy entrepreneurs. In total, 200 students graduated from the Iansa Academy in 2023, impacting more than 516 students as of 2021.

COMMEMORATION OF 70 YEARS OF HISTORY OF EMPRESAS IANSA
The company celebrated its 70th anniversary as a food company through various events and activities.
GOOD ECONOMIC RESULTS AND FINANCIAL STRENGTH
Empresas Iansa reported a profit of USD 11.3 million as of December 31, 2023, an improvement of USD 10.8 million. The company achieved sales revenues of USD 580.2 million in the aforementioned period, which shows an increase of 5.1% compared to the same period of 2022. The reported EBITDA of USD 50.1 million in this period represents an increase of 49.1% over the previous period. The good results were achieved after finalizing the strategic plan initiated 5 years ago to diversify, modernize and streamline our business.
SUSTAINABLE CREDIT THAT IS ALIGNED WITH THE NEW ROADMAP TO ACHIEVE CARBON NEUTRALITY
Empresas Iansa obtained a seven-year loan of MMUSD 91.4 with Santander and Bci banks, subject to the fulfillment of environmental goals for 2030, including: reducing the carbon footprint by 29%, increasing the number of hectares with technified irrigation in sugar beet to 95% and revaluing 95% of non-hazardous waste.
