By Empresas Iansa –
The company has launched “Historias que nutren”, a podcast aimed at sharing experiences, lessons learned, and perspectives on sustainability, innovation, and human development within the Chilean agroindustry.
The initiative was born in the context of Empresas Iansa’s participation in UNALA (the Latin American Sugar Producers Union), a network that brings together companies in the sector committed to advancing toward more sustainable food systems. In May of this year, UNALA members presented 17 case studies related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to the United Nations. Empresas Iansa had the opportunity to present eight of these cases, which now serve as the foundation for the podcast episodes.
Through conversations with employees, strategic partners, and representatives from both the public and private sectors, “Historias que nutren” explores various challenges in the industry: from waste management and recyclable packaging to labor inclusion, energy efficiency, and environmental education. Each episode demonstrates how sustainability can be transformed into concrete, measurable, and replicable actions.
“Each of the experiences we share in this podcast reflects real progress toward the SDGs. It’s not just about talking about sustainability, but about showing through action how the agroindustry can contribute—through its daily work—to global objectives such as the circular economy, inclusion, and territorial development,” said Javiera Cardemil, Head of Communications and Social Impact at Empresas Iansa.
With this platform, the company seeks to promote the exchange of good practices among companies and institutions and encourage a collaborative approach toward a more responsible, inclusive, and efficient economy. Available on Spotify, “Historias que nutren” invites listeners to reflect on the role of companies in building a balanced future that benefits people, the environment, and communities.
In this way, Empresas Iansa reaffirms that it is possible to combine leadership in the agroindustry with productivity, innovation, and social well-being while advancing toward truly sustainable development.
